Anybody have any suggestions on how to do a very light cleaning of the cover or should I just not touch it. Gary

A light brush over with a clothes brush is as much as I would dare do.

a few more shots I took the canteen out of the cover and only saw one spot that I think is marked SS, but it could just be my eyes. Also you can see how dented this canteen is. Gary

I agree its a smudge but when you hold it and the sun hits it just right and if you really believe . I don't know it was the only dark smudge I could find. Gary
