Has one seen a period photo of a work bench used in the hand embroidery as shown above? Thks
I rather thought that my image of the woman in Fahnen Fleck was sufficient. Here is another, of another locale. Fahnen Fleck, as its name implies, made flags, but had a monogram section for the embroidery of various items, and it is apparently in said section that the SS cuff titles were made. I posted this data a long time ago. It is just that I blundered across the uniform with the cuff title, and the photo and the overcoat as from the same year. I garnered many images from UM of mediocre quality. The role of these women in the undertaking was quite prominent.

At the right side in the embroydery table she has something like a stencils . Also interesting that she made the embroidery in a long cuts of cufftitles, and not all is similar, there is a Deutschland appears
...and an Oberabschnitt Suedwest, as well.
