Don't hide your light behind a bushel. We all know how much effort and heartache goes into the collection of such piece. Congratulations.

Your welcome, Nick. As for the maker, I couldn't say. I'm no expert in this field.im sure someone here can help with that. It's in superb shape and is in a lot better condition than my Overhoff.
Is the marking on the buckle original? I've never saw one like It.
p.s: SS is High end.
Fantastic collection, Nick! But with the prices as they are I wouldn't consider any of your items "low-end!"
Not to mention your very impressive EK Collection...I wish you continued good fortune!
cheers, Glenn
I would love to have any of these pieces in my collection. Congratulations Nick, it's a great collection.
Nice collection.
Also, I don't think anything SS counts as "low end" as it just seems to evaporate as soon as it becomes available.
that's very nice Nick.
The " OEL " obviously is not the makermark , but could be owners initials , period or not .
Your makers marking is UNDERNEATH the rolling bar , and it would IMO be Overhoff 1937 to 1940 ( 36/37 - 36/40 ) .
( Because I think Overhoff was the only one to mark their Alu versions in that place - but it's been too long since I studied these to be sure about this . )
Here's a 1938 example >>
