An addendum on this score...for those interested in items from Munich.
These two items are linked geographically. I wonder if the owners knew one another...
Of course, it makes sense that these items found their way into collections given their origination in west Germany and how the cards fell after the occupation.
Come to think of it, the Brubacher Mantel has its origins in Munich as well.
