Shocking cut off insignia set

I just was informed about this as it was posted on another forum, but the link to where it was exposed is from the WAF. Words fail me on this.

A stripped tunic was said to have been carefully restored and then was recently sold and has been cut to pieces and sold as cut offs. If this is true I am shocked at this fakery and wanton act of vandalism.

Apparently not Doug, the sum of the parts as cutoffs appears to total more than the tunic was previously sold for, as cut offs attract a premium.

Destroying a rare piece of history should be illegal, unfortunately I can believe that some people would do this. People will do anything for a quick buck.
