The skull is authentic but has been badly damaged by cutting away all the backing. The tropical bevo skulls are common and can be found for under $200.00 in perfect condition.

hi,this was cut or taken off a hat i wanted to buy this thats all and the price was $175 thank you,is this still to high?

this is not the tipical ones you see off a roll ,as it looks like it was taken off an original ss cap?

They were originally made on rolls, but this one has
definitely been taken off a cap !

Very high price for a damaged piece of insignia. It is identical to those unissued pieces from rolls. I highly doubt this cut insignia was ever on a cap. It shows no evidence of wear.
