SS 1 collartabs, early- buyor not to buy?

I have this tab on the offer, and need quick confirmation, from the pictures look good, but anyway I will haveother opinions about that one.

Let me frank: I do not like the piping. However, there are others watching who are better at this material than am I. The embroidery looks ok, but I always watch the piping. On certain pieces this should be 1.5 cm vs 2 cms.

Also, these electronic pictures are never wholly sufficient.

Finally, as concerns the Stickerei, look at the SS Schule Braunschweig Spiegel recently posted on the lord of the flies site. The pictures are very clear and show what I would deem to be correct embroidery to good effect.

Or, look at the Whamond site for a kind of reference. All of his material is vetted by the leading lights in North America.

I am sorry not to be more concrete.

Thank you for your opinion, I can't look the size of piping on the picture- in that case I need to look it in my hand- what is the other peoples will tell me about, Embroidery looks good to me as the backing too...

I don't like the bullion, the shape of the runes, the piping, the buckram, or the backing. That's pretty much the whole tab.

I don't know......I'm looking at this tab from some days and I'm not sure this is a bad one.I don't like so much the runes shape but IMO the piping and materials looks good.

Here is one to compare with. This one is sadly not mine and resides in the hands of a UK Regimental Museum and I had the chance to handle it last year.
