SS 43 Cap Final Result

Hello my Friends,

after many reflexions, I show you my final and best restoration about my 43 ss cap I think...

I found this striped cap in Germany in the past, I think the cap was a pow hat just after the war, and a frontal skull shadow was on the cap.

the visor seems to be restored in period, of maybe just after the war in us or russia camps...

the insignias seems to be perfect for the cap condition...

the single button is untouched and no stamp on the interior today...

what do you think Gents ?

Good morning Sebastien I rather like it and would happily display it with my headgear but I have a soft spot for such items what are your thoughts on the material that was used in the brim is it still the original? or has it been replaced .
From your photos it would appear that the original pull down tabs are still in place thanks for posting it IMO a very interesting cap
