Im aware these pics are crappy. This is supposed to be a matched set SS Adler and skull m1/24, Overhoff & Cie. I know it's hard to tell with the pics, but are there any red flags? Thank you.

Hello, pics are crappy but the skull has the wrong attachment points for a an Overhoff, it has the back like a Deschler skull. Is it marked M1/24 ? Either way it looks like a fake to me from those photo's. Someone else can comment on the adler.

If something costs over a thousand dollars, and these are the photos supplied, don't buy it.

And just for a learning experience for me,
Shouldn't you be able to see the skull features (teeths and sutures) on the reverse?
Or is that just on certain makers?

Yes Phil, you’re right but there are some that don’t show the teeth on the reverse. Sid has posted some examples in the past. Maybe he’ll find them for us again.
Phil, here are two aluminum Overhoff skulls with no features on the back to illustrate the point.

..and the overhoff skulls don't have those discs attachments (some Overhoff eagles do)
