Please note: a.) placement of Hakenkreuz within the satin disc and b.) the shape of the satin disc, itself has some subtlety to it I will not further explain, but which is obvious to the skilled eye.
and c.) the manner in which the black textile forms the Hakenkreuz, as well as d.) Gesamteindrueck, i.e. overall image of the whole. The swastika on the fakes is lumpy, for lack of a better word. Or clumpy. Klumpig.

I own more than one of these little devils.

This notwithstanding, the fakes of these have long been well rendered. I recall an even better species of fake made in no. America. ca. 1969, which did not get the red badge cloth right, but did have
the craftsmanship. The new ones are not as well made.

I can name certain dealers who carry these, if you so desire....

Thanks Friedrich...Appreciate the detail. Hunter65 had said earlier his post count was a glitch they are working on to fix when TankDestroyer brought up. Any thoughts on my armband I posted for reference? Have gotten opinions prior on here it was a real period piece. Great data you shared and thanks!
