I did can you tell me why in particular you call this a fake?
Thank you
Your piece is far too new in appearance, and its workmanship does not match an original in any way. The Armbindentuch is incorrect; the craftsmanship of the hooked cross is wrong; and the white disc is wrong; and it is typical of fakes as they have have existed for a long time, decades. As Bob notes, I specialize in these, as does he.
In fact, he knows them far better than do I. So does Adrian. The burden of proof is on you to understand the evidence we give you. We do not have to prove what we know to you. We have all done so in years of work here, and decades of experience. I am sure if you felt it and also an original one, you could feel the physical difference and if you put the thing under your nose, you could smell the difference, as well. and so forth.

This is the first time I have seen the wonderful Munich tunic with the Casella honor title. It is very nice. What a treasure! Thanks for all you do to help others.

Thank you, dear colleague, and all the best to you, in return and the best of the season.

My thanks, in turn, to my fine colleague for the Munich Montur.

For the electric pictures to have much value, you must include very detailed close ups of all the salient features.
That is all I want to say on this account, as I have offered some data here that is more than germane to the task.
Good luck.
And do let me repeat this fact, even if it causes discomfort to beginners here: the stalwarts who have built this site on the wreckage of other sites are hardly plaintiffs in court, who must prove to some newly arrived skeptic our capacity for assessment. None of us is free of error, and no one is a god here, either. But the burden of proof
rests on the person who poses the query, not those who generously answer from decades of experience and in some cases, hundreds of thousands and more dollars of
collections, some pieces of which are enshrined in the pictorial secondary sources.
I have wasted a lot of time with new brooms here, who, in the end, did not sweep nearly as well as their affect suggested...

As to the armband that started this thread, the dealer you bought this piece from is a reputable source. This shows that anyone can be fooled if not up to date on the latest fakes. I am sure he will offer you a refund.
