Tyler did you put the armband on hold?
When he wrote like that I got the feeling that he missed it
It still shows for sale usually it would say sold pending funds.
The human eye is quite keen on creating a certain order of things it sees, filling in blanks, finding patterns, and otherwise making the brain think something is one way when in fact it is another. For what it's worth at this point, this roundel is slightly oval while perhaps being more subtle than some other examples. Photography can greatly alter the appearance of shapes as well, and if I'm not mistaken I believe these were hand made making a bit of variance from piece to the next expected. As I understand it, material and construction will be the most reliable indicators, and when in hand you may find a vintage note to the smell.
The image below shows a perfect gray circle imposed over the roundel for comparison purposes.
Too right you are, having the camera too close will distort items, I covered this in my photo thread just recently. The pics on this site are very good, it was all I could do to not buy something that costs more that I should be spending, but very nice merchandise and it's good to know that the seller is trustworthy.Photography can greatly alter the appearance of shapes as well
Thx FB ;-)
The only way to know with these things is to handle them. Telesmanich is a very good source. I would not say so were it otherwise.
I see this armband has sold now.
