hello, here is my collection of ss arm eagles
the first one is in used condition. The two first one's are roundheaded, late war eagles ('44-'45) third one (in first picture) is a early hammer-headed arm eagle in heavy bullion wire, for officers

Unfortunately, I would say that the officers eagle is a Pakistani fake, the thread is too thick to be German. Pakistani quality embroidery is sometimes better as the German, but the shape and thread- no.
Let's wait for other opinions...

same opinion of dimas
I must agree also. The swastika is very badly exucuted.
Cheers, Ade.
My point is the shape of eagle too, and standart "first aid " like backing/embroidery reinforcement for Pakistanian job

Yep from New England on the Officer AE it bad
the swastika can't be always well made, since there where hand-embroided, so there aren't two existing identical eagles. Also the ageing on the piece and the way it's been maded, (when you have it in your hand you'll understand it)
conviced me about the originality of it. and referring to Lumsden book:
"there were handembroided armeagles with heavy thread, well attached on the back to easily reamove it from the tunic to clean it off".
for me this is no Pakistan crap. I study those things very well
