    It looks like a reproduction to me Marcel.
    I haven't studied these eagles but the broad set of stitching at the top on the reverse is something I have seen on the stuff that came out in the 70s but perhaps knowledge has moved on since then.
    I'm sure it is known as the bowling pin or coke bottle fake.

    Can you please elaborate on what the bowling pin or coke bottle fake is?

    Coke bottle, or bowling pin fake does not matter here, it is still a fake.
    This thread discusses a Heer Panzer example but it is still appropriate for this SS eagle.

    It is indeed an old fake (feet and head are totally off)
