that badge has been translated 6 times by 4 different members. we have analyzed the badge using features of its construction and materials. we have analyzed the likelihood of its being related to The Third Reich (zero) by a comparison to fantastic creatures from folklore on both sides of the Atlantic (never a good sign for ANY badge). if nothing else, we have been thorough!
