    Hey! Dear collector :)
I know a collector who collected about 50 years and almost never sold anything.
But now he offers me a reversible SS camo jacket.
He says that he owned it for about 30 years.
It looks very good in seams and is very well-made.
But it's not my area at all, though, I think it looks good.
I tried to take good photos and hope there is someone who can give me some info about it?
    I have more pictures.

    Sincerely:

    Michael.

Not really my area, but I'll make two comments.

I hate that stamp and SS Camo was sewn with a double needle sewing machine.

All double stitching should be parallel, the sleeve seam shown looks to wander.

I'd be very cautious but please what for more replies.

I bought my first German items in the early 70's and there was lots of fakes even then. There was very few quality reference books and no forums. Now you have resources to check out items and avoid mistakes. This item would be a mistake. I went to an estate auction about 12 years ago and the collector had been buying since the 50's. I would say 60-70% of the collection was fake. As the saying goes buy item not the story.

Sorry Michael, I don't mean to kick in the guts but no German camouflage material will have the type of weave (jean like) as shown (yours picture here for eg), here's some close shots from my junk pile of various original examples.
Thanks for showing it's good to see these
