SS CAP EAGLE, is it original?

I've seen it on a website of a non military items seller...I think the details are ok but I've read here that anyone with SS marks is original....then, I want to ask you about it to be enterely sure if I have to pass on it. Thanks in advance!!!

Eagles that are marked SS 373/43 are I believe to be known fakes.

Yes, they never have been made. It is the second or third generation from the same fake.
