SS Collar Tab, Opinions please?

Hey guys i have been offered this although i believe it to be a repro, i think the construction isn't of a high standard as can be seen on the back but i just want a second opinion to be certain,

Hi Glenn, you are correct on all counts. Wrong material.

Note the very elongated shape of the runes which is also wrong.

It's not a good 'un Glen, as has already been stated. The material, the form of the runes and the construction are all bad I'm afraid. What is good though, is that even though you were quite sure that the item is indeed a replica piece, you still posted it on the forum just to be sure. That is a lesson that many of us need to remember (myself included!). Even a one percent chance is worth checking out. So well done for that Glen, hopefully the next one along IS worthy of a pursuit!
