My book doesn't show a single acorn style the timeline goes, Aug 1929 - 15 Oct 1934 two acorns, 15 Oct 1934 - Apr 1942 no acorns, Apr 1942 - May 1945 Three acorns.

This style of collar was worn by other organizations.

From 43 onward Technische Nothilfe (TeNo) wore SS Style collars.

It could be an SS variation I'm not familiar with, hopefully more members will comment.

The single acorn? The acorn it's self look off

I believe to be SS-Standartenführer tab, even if it is not the quality, finish, stitching for a high rank tab would not be so horribly poor.

It is an original, but not SS. Notice that it is composed of wool and not velvet...
