Is that a 7 thread border? I cannot zoom far enough. Backing strip over the letters looks good. By far not a expert on RZM tags.

Well it has a six strand border and i cant remember if this is the type that has these, or whether it should be seven!!!!

yep you are correct. i was using wrong button to try to zoom in on! lol. Good question if this particular CT had 6 or 7. Did most all late war CT's have 6 threads? Personally i am like this piece.

Had no idea there were a 6 and 7 strand border. SS insignia is not exactly my field. I'm more into SS helmets so please forgive my ignorance gents.

Just re-checked, these i believe do have a six strand border, the rest looks ok

I believe that there were only certain types of CTs that had six strands, the usual is seven

I think BOB will be able to confirm once and for all re the types with 6 and 7 strands, or Ade, who i believe did a thread on them
