SS FJ jump smock
Hello !
I see that Virtual Grenadier is selling one smock, I'm sure it's a good one, but I would like to have information or perhaps pictures oof the smock in wear.
I remember that G. Petersen had one, I see in the Mollo that these smocks are coming from Dachau where there was a stock. All transferred to the stated, for...hunting ducks.
Mollo said this in 1972. Other informations ?
cheers
Michel

Michel , was referring to the Fabled SS Jump Smock . I would also like to see a wartime photo , if one exists .
-
I owned one identical to this item for a while and it as found in a pile of Dachau material and then I sold it to Andrew Mollo for USD 100 in the year 1971.
-
It was found together with the four patch pocket blouse in the same pattern of camouflage, and this second Montur re emerged at an auction in the 2000s nearby after the death of its owner. This item, more commonly seen, was bought by Bruce Herman.

That's $579.56 today, for reference.

I saw one of these at the SOS this year. They were asking $25,000 for it. I thought it was fake...

So, Andrew bought one smock in 1971 before he wrote the books on the SS.

Why, yes, indeed. That was a lot of money in 1971, also.
