To be honest, there is more than enough interesting things shown here to keep you guys busy for months!
That was the aim of the thread.
Let's try and move away from talking about crap reproductions and whether this obvious janke etc is real or not.
Look at the period photos then look at all the images of authentic hats posted by FB and others. If any collector chooses this path, then there is really no excuse for asking whether some hideous and obvious fake is real or not.

I totally agree Ben. There is such a wealth of original images around now, care of this box of tricks, that study of these is both educational and fun.

Just done a quick add up and found 14 breeches of uniform regulations in the pics posted so far. (Not all of them cap related, but most are)
