I like the tab but think that it may have suffered from water damage when worn.
However there are more members' on the Forum with much keener eyes than I have.
I agree also with Bochman...wait for other opinions ..The buckram looks good on the back..but there is fabric types that sharper eyes need to see. Regards Larry

Fabric, pips and the buckram all appear to be what one would expect in a period example. A nice salty original rank tab to a Hauptsturmführer in my opinion, congratulations.
