SS Items--Good, Bad or Indifferent?

As you know all too well, grey uniforms are the most conflicted of SS regalia. Bob Hritz and Bob Coleman are expert in this material. There is a whole sub science of the study of SS sleeve eagles in wire embroidery which I cannot decipher. The insignia may be authentic, but the issue is whether they belong to the tunics, plainly. This you know, of course.

The collar patches look sort of ok, but I cannot tell from the images you furnish. They are not clear or close enough.

Grey uniforms with the SSVT unit markings on grey uniforms are exceptionally rare and likely conflicted....

Such is no riddle.

This is also why I never collected grey uniforms, preferring the black.

I do not like both of the first eagles, I do not like first pair of tabs. I like the last eagle on the Italian gabardine wool ( even SS Braunschweig tunic from that pictures, look the same set), I like cufftitle, I do not like SS 3 collar tab due of improper size of the 3 digit and do not like the shape of the runes. I think our Estonian friend is likely spot on.

I recall the Braunschweig uniform being sold on a well known web site.

The eagle on the right is spot on. I have an original just like it, so if that is wrong, so is mine. And from where it came from I doubt if it is fake.

The tabs, both looks good, A good oxidisation on the edges, and correct proportions. The cuff is ok by the look of. The eagle on the left is a variation, and it could be ok. As for the number 3? I don't think I would like to comment. But based on the first set of pictures, Alles Gutt

Of course, I have been wrong before, and can take the flack if proved different............

John, I have another monitor resolution and all of the pictures is stright up, so I can\t see the right or left image.
I personally do not like the shape of the SS runes
