I found one exactly like it in a thrift store around 20 years ago. I almost didn't buy it since I thought it was modern Austrian army. It has the pressed paper buttons, etc, and was in very good shape. What are they worth now? I am embarrassed to say what I paid for it.

It would be interesting to see some good photos of your find. If authentic it would be a high value item, obviously, but how much I couldn't say.
