I can now say I agree, the markings are post-war additions. Besides the fact I don't like the stamps appearance, it also wouldn't be so dark, especially considering the wear inside and out.
SS boots do indeed have such stamps on the leather interior lining, as well on the soles. At the same time, with the advent of these images of ours, such fakes are proliferating as well.
The boots here are not zwiegenaeht, thus are riding boots or not meant for heavy wear.
