    Default SS Officer Pocket Watch

Hi all, just found this online and was wondering of its authenticity, seems a strange one.

Apparently has enamelled hard dial, the movement has 7 jewel and is stamped Swiss Made. The rear outer cover is missing but the inner one is still there. Claims to be from Eastern Europe.

    Fake?

Yep, my feelings entirely, just thought I'd post it as I found it funny that this sort of stuff is out there.

    Hi Stefan,

I'm afraid it's a case of same crap different day. There's loads of these watches doing the rounds lately. It's easy to pick up an old watch and whack a decal from a plastic kit on it. Here's something similar on here a couple of months back.ss watch ??

    You get the idea.

    Regards, Ned.

Ruined a reasonable watch, what will they come up with next, Gebirgsjaeger original snowboards, with eidelweiss decal, or mountain bikes with brackets to hold an mp40, JEEZ.

Items are embellished to sell mundane inventory that are slow sellers. Sadly, collectors get stung on these fantasy items.
