May I ask what market value if for a genuine one of these? - very similar to the one pictured below, which are images taken from the web. I suspect the one pictured is a copy as it has slight detail variations from one in a friend collections which is unquestionably genuine based on its provenance.

Sid, exactly as I said, it is a copy. I posted to serve as an example of the type a friend has. He says they are worth $2000 on today's market. I am curious if that's in the ballpark, or wishful thinking.

2000 is a farce, the last one I sold was for 350-400eur.

Thanks for that. I don’t collect TR, nor have any awareness of market values. My friends assertion that this piece has such a value raised my eyebrows, hence undertaking this little bit of research to gauge the opinions of the experts here.
