There are those put off greatly by such restoration, but I cannot fathom why such purism would obtain. Ben is a tireless seeker of truth and has discovered the joy of handicraft. His skill is admirable and I regret that he cannot fix other pieces I own. Bravo.

Huge thanks as well for all the kind comments about my work. It makes it all worthwhile. Some caps and some people are a pain to work with and for, some are pure joy like Steve and his wonderful SS Officers Schirmmeutze. His enthusiasm, trust and generosity was very much appreciated.
