Is it possible a tunic for lower ranks, worn as the "kleiner Dienstanzug"
(informal service dress) did not have the holes? Just a thought, just a question!

Here shown a tunic for an officers ranked person from 1940.

SS open collar tunic?SS open collar tunic? The way ahead in this conundrum is to send the item to one of the principles here, if one seriously wants a firm answer.

This kind of thing is exceptionally rare, much more so than my black uniforms. This kind of thing was used up, and more or less replaced by the military cut blouse
and SS open collar tunic?one did not want to be wearing it in the wrong place at the wrong time.

We have a lot of very clear images of black SS tunics on this site. You might want to look at them to orient yourself.

The authentic grey Einheitstuch blouse or tunic in field grey is a very rare item.

The images earlier in this thread were also of below average quality.

I also wrote that if you want a bomb proof opinion, send it to an expert whom we all trust. I.e. Bob Coleman or others.
    Or Dr. CMH.

    They are real experts.

I owned exactly two grey SS Tuch tunics and or blouses in about fifty and more years of collecting.
The one grey tunic of mine ( ca 1972-4) was identical in all aspects to the make of a black SS tunic.
I got rid of them in that Nixonian epoch.

Ok and how would I go about that? Are there any of these experts in the Miami area?
