SS Police Collar Tab.

I bought this a few years ago and unfortunately somehow it got left down and was ripped apart by my dog. Judging by whats left was it original and what may it have been worth? Before my dog shredded it of course. Thanks Attachment 334006Attachment 334005

Again as always my pictures are crap but there are no markings on back just the card board or what ever it is.

The backing would normally be "buckram", topped with an RZM paper label . As far as originality of the tab itself, I dont know.

It is a police sleeve diamond, not a collar tab. This insignia was worn by NCO's of police who were transferred to the SS and later transfered back to a police unit. The SS Police Division originally wore police insignia but when totally incorporated in to the Waffen SS, changed to standard SS insignia and wore the standard rune collar tab and standard SS rank tabs

Well I must say I picked it up for maybe $10. In the end it disappointed me but I can't hate my dog! And I must agree with Glenn at least my hund isn't a nazi. . Thanks Gents!
