    hi seb ,this award looks fine to me ,there are a few variants of this award. this has no connection with the SS. it is an unofficial veterans award . it was awarded to ww1 veterans of the 26 reserve-korps in the 20s to commemorate there participation in the fighting at langemarck, near Ypres, Belgium...cheers Paul
