German WW2 Brass Ring Bought in an Antique Shop in Bulgaria,
Dug up from the battlefield I was told,
Don't know if this is true; but its a nice item anyway.

Too bad. Some of the stuff he posted was entertaining in an unintentionally comical way. Also, he once provided us with the single best bit of provenance I have ever read:

I recently bought these Hermann Göring Panzer Division collar tabs online. The chap I bought them from has been collecting for over 15 years, and said that he bought them from somebody in Kent who said they were original.
