SS tab review....

Article about: Hello everyone, Im checking this tab. I know that it's not a good sign, when tabs have that border around the runes, but I believe one of the good ones do? Can anybody gimme opinions in this

    Your stamp is not that bad visible. Compare to a full visible stamp. The 6 is clearly there - 1 is more faded but one can see the traces of the one.

    And the vertical line right of the 6 is also there.

    And the runics are a perfect match to other 16 made Tabs.

    Moleskin? This is why the texture is so smooth? Ive heard people before say, "doeskin." So this is the actual material used? Moles? Does? Can somebody tell me, the different materials (textiles) used in collar tabs?

    Well, in this case "moleskin" is not actually made of moles, but is a type of tightly weaved badge cloth with a very smooth finish. Doeskin is another type of woollen material that also has a very smooth finish, but is generally much thicker.

    Nice original RZM number 16 maker runic patch as MM1985mhas said, I have a similar made runic of moleksin but without the paper label....congrats there. David

    going to post something which may be helpful in the future as there are decent fakes of this pattern of tab out there. The tab which started the thread is an original IMO.
