well said Steve, but the tabs are fake non the less, no matter how many high res photos are shown, for me, and it is JMO they are pretty bad fakes

tell me John what is the basis for your challenging them as fake??
I am just trying to learn so I can know what is right and what is not,,
if it is JYO, please give me some solid reasoning

Hi David, save the gas and time and post good pics here, or another well know forum. You will get the truth about them. You can judge your tabs for yourself, after some qualified opinions about them. Do you have the tabs in hand to take pics? The pics posted look like standard pics dishonest crook sellers use all the time on the internet. Very blurry, Very poor lighting etc.

Hi David and welcome to the forum. First of all we will need the close up pictures to confirm originality of the collar tabs in question. But even with bad pictures the over all shape, piping, methodes of embroidery are all wrong. In other words all is bad.

We do lack pictures of the back, but at the same time is not necessary due to what is presented at hand.

I am sure you did not try to decieve anyone but the truth of the matter is that collar tabs are a bad attempt to imitate original ss collar tabs.

The rounded corners, the non concentric runes the material in which the runes appear to be made of, the lack of crisp detail to the runes the way the pips are slapped on, the spacing between the pips .....................................theres more
