    I don't get a piece of the action, mind you, but I enjoy the sight of nice material.

    Not my cup of tea but I can appreciate the wonderful patina of this piece, it speaks volumes.

    A good tornister, do you have SS makings on the 2 slings? What price ?

    The object will be on sale at some point, and all your questions will be answered by him at that time. I am very fond of Mr. Whammond and he showed this to me ahead of the others.

    Well said, Ben, and such is precisely why I offered it here. Mine have no tag, but they have the same markings in the leather and the same appearance.

    Mr. Whammond, as usual, did a nice job describing the piece and providing some background. It's very attractive.

    nice original material, also it needs attention what purpose of back pack.
    Look Whammonds example is sold? Anyone knows for how much?

    It was in excess of 2300 dollars, I think. I did not pay such for mine, but they don't have tags, just the VA SS marks.
