I agree with what has been said above. Not only is the scull itself an incorrect design, but the material used to create this disaster is bad as well. Welcome however, in a short time studying originals on this site, this tab and tabs alike will be easy to spot as no good.
A definite product of the 4th Reich. Welcome to the Forum. I hope you did not purchase this piece and posted it first for opinion.

I did "purchase" these over 30 years ago at an estate sale of a local farmer. They were grouped with an m42 camo shell and an SA dagger. I paid $100 for all. They were the only Nazi items in the auction. I sold the shell a few years ago and I still have the dagger which is a Model 1933 by August Malsch, so I don't feel ripped off at all. It is strange how an old farmer, who was a vet, would want repro tabs. Just for fun, here is the mate.

You never know how an item came to with an individual who has pasted. All WWII vets wanted a item of the ss, so who knows. I've have however purchased fake armbands for a vets family before, believe it or not it happens more than one would think.
