i think because of the shadow of the eagle on the sleeve

im not knowledgable enough to comment on its authenticity but was this the one on ebay recenty?

It is a poor fake.

Note the shade of the material where the sleeve eagle was supposed to have sat. Not Feldgrau. But more than that, note the colour of the lining, the totally incorrect belt ramp support hook arrangement, poor construction, etc...

It looks like insignia was sewn on and the tunic was soiled then washed in a bleach solution. Then the insignia is removed and it appears to have been an old stripped tunic. This would not be for my collection.
