Re: SS Tunic: authentic or not?
Hi
I think its OK.
I do not see a breast eagle shadow.
Note this is a Heer cut of the lining.
But in 1936 - 1941 a lot of WH tunics ( with this typical heer lining ) were originally adopted for an SS usage.
The strings of the eagle and the other insignia look authentic.
Most of all, i've seen this tunic before, but i cannot remember where...was it in some dealer's site?
Cheers
George

Re: SS Tunic: authentic or not?
Thanks a lot for the replies, really appreciate it! The tunic is for sale not via the dealer but it is very much possible it was sold to this person by the dealer. Any additional photos that might help to gain more clarity on this one?

I like it too- the insignia has the look of a wartime application!
