I reserved my opinion as these are very rare, faked well, and I've never had one in hand. It's great to hear they're both originals from David, whom you can obviously trust, congratulations. I hope you're able to obtain these.

I think it's worth pointing out the 'Elbe' title is also a rather more prosaic Allgemeine-SS Oberabschnitt cuffband. The SS-TV, (perhaps because of its notoriety), does have a tendency to hog the limelight.

Mollo shows an "Elbe" cuff title in vol. IV. Is this not it? Perhaps you might kindly elucidate for us the differences.

There is no difference, the cuffband for SS-Oberabschnitt Elbe and SS-Wachverbaende Lichtenburg are one and the same. Both wore the same 'Elbe' inscription.
