Re: SS uniform
I'm a bit confused. I'm not a tunic collector but liked the look of the materials and cut of the first tunic and then Gerd said that this is how it looks now.
So, it's the same tunic now restored?

Confusion is normal when the theme is the grey SS uniform.

Re: SS uniform
This one has gone in a hole and someone should do the constructive thing and pull it out, as it were.
This kind of thread sews much more confusion than knowledge.

Re: SS uniform
Apparently Willysproject recognized the potential of the ORIGINAL wartime tunic starting the thread and restored it to its former glory.

Re: SS uniform
You're saying he un-shaved and un-faded the thread starter tunic?

Re: SS uniform
I would say the tunic which was in the original post and the tunic from post number eight are one in the same. Please note the two white spots right above the bottom button, on towards the right. Other than that, I am at a lost of knowledge. Foreign made ss items are just another wave in a sea of uncertainty to me. However, how extreme the marks left by the lost of insignia would be a red flag IMO, reading, caution at your on risk.

Re: SS uniform
No...he just restored it.

Re: SS uniform
To me the thread starter is not a Dutch cloth type. Dutch wool seen by me is only rectangle thread structure of the woolen base.
