These are photos of my collection, Willi Schumacher. The photos were taken for a website on military headgear by Robbie Wilson. They were professionally photographed and put up on Wilson's website. I was his first featured German collector. Unfortunately, Robbie lost his battle with cancer an the site was taken down.

I have 36 Waffen-SS uniforms that I have been collecting since 1979. In the early years I often traded up for better stuff, until one day I didn't want to get rid of the stuff I had. Many of you have seen these in publications as I support authors when I can. I began exhibiting them at Chantilly in 2006. Then a couple of years later I expanded to Wehrmacht so I could put together better themes.

I think I have around 65 total uniforms now and put up some world-class, professional exhibits in Virginia. I used to go beyond Virginia but it gets expensive, especially since I don't charge for them. I'll see if I can post some of the exhibits.

Thank you. It definitely got bigger since my wife passed away 22 years. But she liked this stuff. I was the envy of every militaria collector --- my wife liked it.
