With a half hour effort, you can see more images of authentic black SS officer caps here than elsewhere.

The black officer's cap with the light interior and the runics was made from 1934 until about 1936 or 1937, and is especially rare. It is the Sonderanfertigung model.
When found, it is usually in the hands of the leading persons and usually very, very costly.
This cap ex the Pepera collection was sold at auction in Munich for around USD 16000.
