Here is a new pickup and I wanted to get any comments on it. Sorry for some of the poor photos.
Thank you!

Interesting. It is a Heer pattern cap, note the green badge cloth cap band.
Cheers, Ade.

Thanks Ade! I wish I could translate the German writing.
just wonderful. I agree, a standard Heer visor, but with the provenance obviously utilized by the SS.

WOW, super rare to see the SS Heimwehr Danzig cuff!
Same guy in the image I just found online?

yeah I am really asking if the random photo I found on the net is the same guy as the guy Sam posted. They both wear a similar shaped visor without a chin strap and the TK mounted right under the piping, both also sport a DRL in silver, and a ribbon bar mounted to the left of the pocket on the chest.

The skull and eagle are not Original to the visor. Did you knew this?
This cap was discussed before on GHW.

Your man Brandstetter joined SSTV "Oberbayern" in 1938. His curriculum vitae is in Sutterlin. If you photograph it properly, i.e. at the proper angle, and with more detail, I can tell you more.
The two men in the photos are not the same person.
Brandstetter died in battle in 1942, as indicated in the documents.
The second photo of the Eicke NCO is a different man altogether.
