Very interesting, indeed. Did this organization represent solely this Vlaandern SS contingent in post war Belgium, or other collaborators etc?
I miss Belgium. Have spent much pleasant time there.

I think it were mainly Flemish Waffen-SS soldiers that fought at the eastfront. For that we call them 'Oostfronters' (East-Fronters).
But also existed out of members of other collaborating organizations during the war.
Sint-Maartensfonds - Wikipedia You gonna have to translate it to English. Didn't find it in English.
And sorry FB, I wrote an error here before. The organization wasn't called 'Berkenkruis'. Their membermagazine was called like that. The organization was called 'St-Maartensfonds (Saint-Martin foundation).
