In an ancillary thingy, I discovered that a cap of mine, the property of Phillip Dinkel of Heidelberg, has more of a story to it, as Dinkel founded the NSDAP in Heidelberg ca. 1925 and was the Kreisleiter of the NSDAP in said town in the III. Reich. He was denazified and returned to local elected office in the FRG as well as a life in the church....!!. One of the leading dealers told me that said cap was gotten by an OSS or CID person from a war criminal. Dinkel, however, well survived the war, it seems like so many others. The legends and myths with this material are quite boring, really.

Thanks. I will let you know, if I sell it.
Everything must stand on it's own merits of course and knowing Martin a little, I'm positive he would be willing to discuss those merits, good or bad, with anyone on the phone or in person.
You really can't ask for more than that, the rest is up to your own knowledge.
Nice tunic Francesco and nice to see that it went to a good home where it was reunited with one of it's winter brothers.
Congratulations Francesco!! It's a very nice display!!
