    Steinnussknoepfe are a kind of button made from a tropical tree of a kind I cannot really decipher.
    Allow me to assist: When used in buttons, the material it is known as "Corozo". Otherwise known as "vegetable ivory" or "tagua nut", it is made from the seeds of certain palm trees.

    Translation remains an art, and it is best done by people who are fluent in languages.
    Hear, hear! We are still a long way from the point when online translation tools will provide truly useful translations. The results are still quite awful and often comical; at best, they just about enable one to catch the general drift of a text.

    Here's my attempt at a hopefully accurate translation of the list:

    according to the 1938 RZM manufacturing-regulations the M2 - Hilfsbetriebe
    (auxiliary companies) were classified as:
    a) general (allgemeine Hilfsbetriebe);
    b) galvanizing (Galvanisieren);
    c) soldering (Löten). It may be of interest that such auxiliaries were practicaly all located at Lüdenscheid;
    d) enameling (Emaillieren). It may be of interest that such auxiliaries were practically all located at Pforzheim;
    e) pressing/moulding (Pressen);
    f) galvanising, grinding and polishing (Galvanisieren, Schleifen, Polieren);
    g) striking/pressing (Prägen, Pressen);
    h) striking (Prägen)

    Many auxiliaries were helping out manufacturers that made buckles and such stuff, especially with c), e) and g/h)!
    As far as I know M7 could have numbers like M7/H25. The H stands for auxiliary company. This is stated in the
    one or the other Mitteilungsblatt from early 1941. Note they were NOT an M2 concern.

    M11 was divided in companies that made the bronze NSDAP award and did enameling; concerns that only did
    enameling and concerns that ony did make the bronze one;
    M12 included some concerns that made miniatures for the NSDAP awards. The Mitteilungsblatt from March 8,
    1941 mentioned a number of M 12 which only made miniatures for the NSDAP awards.
