There are many images of real badges of this type here. They are heavily faked. Yours is a fake, but there exist very refined fakes of these items, so one has to be triply careful.

Bob Hritz has shown us many of his authentic badges of this type. Look for them. I enclosed the famous collection of these recently broken up. I own only one on a uniform.

This is a very poor attempt to duplicate the insignia of an officer from Totenkopf. If you had used our search function, you would find a number of threads similar to this one. I know of two within the past 4-6 months.
