It's always disappointing to find out something that you've had in your collection for a long time is fake, but I guess that's just part of collecting

As fakes go, it is not too bad, there are certainly much worse attempts than the one you bought so don't feel too bad. Horrible feeling having something for a long time and thinking it was right.

Here is an original from my collection. This one was brought home by a British RASC Veteran. Compare the "fat" swastika which fills the wreath and general detail.
