Two ss sleeve diamonds

Would this Sleeve diamond represent the Ordnungs polizei?.. "Orpo? Regards Larry

This sleeve diamond was instituted with an order of 1 December 1942.

It was for Fachführer and Fachunterführer of the Fachgruppe SS- und Polizeiwesen [= specialist group SS- and police matters; hence the dual symbolism of the SS runes over the police eagle] of the Reichssicherheitshauptamt (RSHA) [= Reichs Security Main Office].

These specialists served with the Höhere SS- und Polizeiführer [Higher SS- and Police Leaders] outside the Reich's territory.

If I may ask, was the left one meant for someone with an officer's rank, or are they just two variations of the same patch?

Hi Larry the only info in the books i own is just what HPL2008 posted,Thanks for posting the info HPL2008.
Thanks Erno as far as i'm aware there just two variations i'm not sure if one was intended for officer use.
